To further enhance faculty and staff's understanding of generative AI tools and issues related to information and communication security, the University organized two sessions of the “AI and Information Security General Education Training” on June 27, 2025 (Friday).

The training covered the basic concepts of generative AI tools and information security, including topics such as AI-related security concerns, identifying and preventing social engineering emails, types of cyberattacks (e.g., malware, phishing), data privacy protection, and safe internet practices. The program aimed to strengthen participants’ knowledge of AI security issues and raise their awareness of social engineering tactics and cybersecurity threats.

Looking ahead, the University will continue to offer a series of related courses, enabling colleagues to remain mindful of AI applications and information security issues across administrative and academic research settings. This will help prevent the leakage of sensitive information and protect against various forms of cyberattacks.
