2022 Cyber Security Training: Social Engineering and Security of Mobile Device.

In order to enhance the faculty's awareness of cyber security to prevent the possibility of social engineering and protect the official information, Computer Center hold a propaganda of cyber security in computer classroom of Information Building on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
The Center invited the consultant Liu Chao-hua, who is from our tutoring company for ISMS, to give a speech this time. The speech was about Social Engineering and the risk and protection of cyberspace.
Social Engineering is the term used for malicious activities accomplished through psychological manipulation, such as using sympathy, empathy, curiosity or fear, to trick users into making security mistakes or giving away sensitive information. The training included the introduction of the cases at home and abroad of the Social Engineering attacks through email, financial phishing and the cyber secure risk of mobile device, the warning signs of malicious program or the virus infected in APPs.
The attendants who participated the whole training and passed the exam would be issued the certification of lifelong learning hours of civil servants. The exam was taken and scored online in a week after the course. The passing score was 60 or above.
Following the guideline of Central Epidemic Command Center, the participants were required to wear the facial mask during the whole training.
