To align with the government's "AI Smart Island" policy, Central Police University is actively fostering AI literacy among its staff. On Thursday, November 14, 2024, the university conducted two sessions of "Gamma AI Generative Tools Training," bringing together seed instructors from various departments and interested faculty members. A total of 50 participants attended, with each department represented by at least one seed instructor.

Gamma's core feature, "presentation creation," empowers users to swiftly craft engaging and interactive content. With its user-friendly and intuitive interface, participants learned to generate reports, proposals, and presentations quickly, significantly reducing the time required for tedious editing tasks and greatly enhancing teaching and research efficiency.

While generative AI offers tremendous potential for improving productivity, the university also underscored the importance of adhering to the "Executive Yuan and Affiliated Agencies' Guidelines for the Use of Generative AI". Staff were reminded to use such tools responsibly for non-official purposes, ensuring compliance with security and privacy standards while maintaining autonomy and control.

Looking ahead, the university remains committed to offering targeted training sessions to equip staff with essential digital skills, ensuring they are well-prepared to navigate and thrive in the AI era.
