As part of its efforts to embrace artificial intelligence (AI) and align with the government’s "AI Smart Island" initiative, Central Police University (CPU) is actively enhancing the AI literacy of its faculty and staff. On Thursday, September 26, 2024, CPU hosted two sessions of the "Google NotebookLM Generative AI Q&A Tool Training," with a total of 50 participants, including one seed representative from each department.
The Google NotebookLM tool enables users to organize and generate content based on the data they provide. During the training, participants learned how to apply the tool to analyze and generate reports, articles, outlines, FAQs, and other materials, drawing from publicly accessible regulations. This hands-on approach aims to establish department-specific regulatory knowledge bases, helping to enhance operational efficiency and streamline administrative processes.
Moving forward, CPU will continue offering AI-related training programs to further improve staff competencies, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the demands and opportunities presented by the evolving AI landscape.
